How to maintain your security system

At Protect & Serve we take pride in being able to play such a major part in keeping your most valuable assets - your home and your family - safe.

Our mission is in our name – to create secure family homes protecting against the scourge of threats from burglars and fire and giving you support in the case of a medical emergency.

We and our team at Protect & Serve offer home security designed to suit your lifestyle and your budget but our job doesn’t stop once you have the right system installed.

People often think they have an alarm or CCTV fitted and that’s it – the system will run for ever. But this is a fallacy - like any technological device or electronic product  it is vital they are maintained correctly.

Regular maintenance checks by our experienced team of On Call Technical engineers are a must. We aim to service your system once a year with a physical check where we visit to  confirm all the devices are working correctly, clean any parts from the build-up of dust and ensure any low batteries are replaced.

Many systems also benefit from a remote service half yearly where we run a diagnostics check without having to enter your home.

This then provides you with a report confirming your alarm is in good working order and enables us to identify issues before they become a problem.

From time to time we may also need to update or upgrade your system and we always offer our existing customers at Protect & Serve  the latest technological advances at the most competitive rates.

We also ensure our systems are up to date with any changes in legislation such as fire safety laws – we stay ahead of the game so you don’t have to.

So if you’ve already done the best for your home and your family and had an alarm installed make sure you give us a call for your yearly service. We will then take care of the rest for you.
